When I found Batushka and discovered that they split, I was definitely broken hearted. Then I found this. I can truly see who is the heart of the original Batushka and Drabikowski is that. The whole entire album is great from start to finish. Listen to it in one sitting in the dark or with your eyes closed. Top notch!

Amazingly addictive album. I fell in love with it instantly<3 Their newest album; Mother Bear, Father Toad is just as good if not better. I really hope they make a physical release of that album as well coz my stupid apple devices won't accept digital downloads for some reason. Their cover of Tom Petty's Runnin' Down a Dream is fantastic and the droptuned guitars really makes that song quite special. I just ordered one of the last copies of Abyss Between the Stars. Hurry up if you want one!

Space metal or metal is space? How about both! Atmospheric black metal at its core but with an excellent addition of synthesizer effects and keyboards to give a cosmic melody that is present throughout the album. Some shorter songs on this album compared to previous that make it a bit more approachable. 7/10
